schmoyoho, YouTube

You didn't think you'd seen the last of this YouTube sensation, did you? When a video goes as viral as Debbie the eHarmony Cat Lady did, it has the chance to achieve a second life via the Gregory Brothers, the geniuses who extended Antoine Dodson's 15 minutes of fame to 20 minutes of fame with their "Bed Intruder Song." Now these viral kingmakers have given the nutty cat obsessive their auto-tune treatment with "Can't Hug Every Cat."

What we love so much about this clip isn't only the return of Debbie, nor is it just the song itself (which is perhaps the Gregory Brothers' catchiest yet), but the integration of many previous viral cat videos into the fun to create Debbie's backing "band." Nora makes an appearance, and Keyboard Cat too. Even Nyan Cat shows up. It's not just a celebration of crazy Debbie, it's a glorification of Internet cat videos in general.

Make this one a hit and it could end up on iTunes next to "Bed Intruder Song" and "Double Rainbow Song." It's your new summer jam. Don't even try to resist.

A reality TV show about stray dogs in Detroit, canceled after officials denied the Discovery Channel permission to film, may still help the Motor City's needy canines.

In frustration at the decision by Mayor David Bing's film office, two of the filmmakers have continued the fight -- online, on the airwaves and onto the streets of Detroit.

Executive producer Monica Martino and location scout Dan Carlisle -- a local rapper known as Hush -- began by posting a short but shocking video about the problem on YouTube on Jan. 31, shortly after the city's refusal to grant the permit.

The four-minute film has since drawn more than 70,000 hits and the pair claim to have received more than $7,000 in donations to their newly created animal rescue charity, Detroit Dog Rescue.

Martino, who appeared on MSNBC to highlight the issue earlier this month, has quit her producing job to spearhead the cause alongside Hush. The pair held their first town hall meeting in Detroit on Feb. 27 and are now aiming to raise $50,000 to build a no-kill animal shelter in the city.

Ever tell your friends about something funny your pets do but can never get them to do it in front of company? YouTube user Sweetpea377 went to an extreme to prove that her tuxedo cat hangs out in a rather unusual place -- every night!

Devoured "District 9"? Wolfed down "Wolverine"? Ingested "Inglourious Basterds"? Still hungry for more? Just because it's September doesn't mean the summer blockbusters are done!

We at Paw Nation are aware of your need for some more, so we have compiled a few "dramatic" animal videos for your viewing pleasure. From predatory pelicans to brainy beagles, you won't be hungry after you pig out on today's video roundup.

There's that old wives tale about owners looking like their dogs, but can you and your dog share more than just looks?

In the video above, one Kentucky woman tries to convince us that her dog Opie has an opinion on our current president. This got us wondering -- should pets become unsuspecting campaigners?

We have a feeling Bo Obama would have something to say about this.

More people may watch the below YouTube clip than the movie in which it debuted. Uploaded on Friday to coincide with the Funny People movie release, "Cute Cuddly Kittens" stars Jonah Hill as he mimics the adorable antics of, well, kittens.

Context for the uninitiated: In the film, Jonah's character is one of a group of young stand-up comics trying to break into L.A.'s comedy scene. He shows his friends this video, his attempt at DIY viral marketing, reasoning that if you post any video to YouTube with a title such as "Cute Cuddly Kittens," you're guaranteed, like, at least a million views.

Even if you didn't catch Funny People, you'll dig Jonah's copycat shenanigans.

We kind of wish there was a serious Canine Olympic Games, if only to see this as an official event: the Quadruple Synchronized Doggy Head Tilt. If our fantasy were ever to become reality, surely Minnie, Mabel, Max, and Monte here would be serious contenders for the gold.

"But Paw Nation," you're saying, "how can you rationalize this as an athletic achievement?" Like this: If curling and badminton are Olympic events, head tilting could be too. A tip for the owner: don't use the R-I-D-E word during the official contest, 'cause if the pugs break form, it's an automatic DQ.

Ack! What are these freakishly cute creatures popping up all over YouTube? Are they real? Are they fake? Or perhaps the latest creation from PIxar?

They are, in fact, pygmy jerboas and they are the smallest rodents in the world. With the face of a mouse, tiny front paws and long hind legs, they are native to Asia and northern Africa. Some have become pets, but let's hope they don't get exploited. The five-toed pygmy jerboa and the thick-tailed pygmy jerboa are considered endangered and have been classifed as "vulnerable" by nature conservationists.

The fastidious little guy in the video, below, weighs a whopping 3.2 grams --- most of which has got to be made up by its tail.
