You already know we love cat couture, so you can only imagine the purring taking place now that we've gotten a peek at United Bamboo's 2011 cat calendar.
Our fashionable friends at StyleList tell us that United Bamboo designers had to paw through 100 pretty kitty applicants before choosing the most fashion-forward felines to grace the calendar's pages. And apparently, according to Style.com, the "in" look this year is longhaired cats, whereas last year's calendar was focused on shorter haired cats.
You can pre-order this limited edition calendar now for $50. Calendars are scheduled to ship November 15.

But no more! The catwalk is opening up to, well, cats. And nothing proves that trend better than the two kitty outfits now available at the über-hip shop Opening Ceremony at the Ace Hotel, reports New York Magazine.
The outfits, by United Bamboo, retail for $500 each. One features a two-piece look with a purple top, black bottom, and large bow (all the better for taking the focus off a tubby tail or missing whisker, we imagine), while the other is a bit more formal with shiny black ruffles (perfect for a cocktail party). The smarty-pantses at fashion house United Bamboo have gone to the dogs.
