It was an eventful evening last night for the Suffolk County Police Marine Bureau in Mount Sinai Harbor. According to Patch, officers David Goldstein and Matthew Funaro received a message from a boat via VHF radio that a large sea turtle was entangled in the lines of several lobster pots. After 10 minutes, officers located the entangled turtle. It was distressed, and had trouble breathing.
