Stop! Don't even open your mouth. You don't need to say it; we know what you're going to say: You've seen this video before. It's the classic clip of the kitten on its back being tickled on its belly. Well, look a little closer, smarty pants. This isn't the same video. It's a different cat doing the exact same thing. "So what?" you say. Well did you even watch it? Has your heart grown so cold and calloused from your time here on Internet? It doesn't matter how many time you see it; it never gets old. We don't care how many iterations of this single thing we come across. We will always love watching people tickle a cat's furry belly. Stop being so over-it all the time and press play. You're gonna love it.

Look, we know what you're thinking. You've seen this behavior before. It's basically the same thing as the classic "Surprised Kitty" video, one of the most virulent viral videos of '09. But hey, you're sitting in your cubicle, bored, not filling out that expense report that's been in your inbox since Thursday, and looking at cat videos on the Internet. Obviously we get that. And we know that looking at cat videos never gets old. So enjoy this new take on an old favorite.

To celebrate Paw Nation's first birthday, we're bringing back some of our favorite posts from the past year. Well, you can't talk about favorite posts without mentioning "Surprised Kitty!" Not only was this video an enormous hit with our readers, but it swept the entire nation (as in the United States, not just the Paw Nation). When we first ran the story, the video had accumulated more than eight million views. And now? Over 23 million. And we still love watching it!

We introduce you to a lot of cute videos of cats on Paw Nation, but sometimes a cute video of a cat is such a cute, unstoppable juggernaut that it makes other "cute" videos boring. The "Suprised Kitty" video on YouTube is more of an overnight sensation than that guy who plays the werewolf in New Moon. On October 13, a YouTube user posted this video of a kitten, lying on her back, expectantly and repeatedly raising her paws in response to someone's playful hands.

Since then, the 17 second video has been watched 8 million times.

After the video was featured on CNN and mentioned by Kristen Bell on Craig Ferguson, fifteen-year-old Rosa, the video's writer, producer, and director, talked to a French journalist at LePost.fr. The kitten's name is Attila Fluff and does not belong to Rosa, but instead belongs to one of her friends. The actual owner of Attila has not yet given a statement about the success of the video. Hopefully a major motion picture deal will be in the works.

If you haven't yet seen the video, be warned; it is so out-of-control, off-the-charts cute that the word "cute" seems like a hyperbolic understatement. After watching it, if your head or computer have not exploded, you still may want to see a doctor for any possible pretty and precious internal injuries.

We found this over on Urlesque and we were appropriately tickled!
