We love this video of 3-month-old red pandas. Those giant ears! Those cartoonish eyes! The floppy paws and fluffy tails! We just want to hug them. Granted, these red pandas were born at the Knoxville Zoo last year, so they're older now and a little less cuddly. This little red panda cub at the Calgary Zoo is called Keti. The name was chosen in an online contest and means "little girl" in Nepalese. In the wild, red pandas typically don't see the outside world until 3 months old, which is the age that Keti made her public debut at the zoo in front of lots of onlookers. Until that day, she'd been out only at night. This video marks her first time basking in the light of day -- the same day she first met her father. Talk about a big event! ...

There's nothing cuter than baby animals. And though puppies and kittens are beyond adorable, haven't you wondered what other, more exotic animals look like when they're young? Like an aardvark? Or a red panda? The recently published "ZooBorns" includes pictures of a variety of zoo and aquarium newborns from around the world. Based on the ZooBorns website, the book series melds cuteness with wildlife conservation education, with 10 percent of the books' revenue going to the Association of Zoos and Aquariums Conservation Endowment Fund.
