Sick Piglet Joins Puppy Pack
A sick little piglet escaped death and now pals around with a pack of six puppies, reports the Daily Mail.
This little piggy is named Prudence, and was rescued by an animal rescue charity before her owners shot her. Not only was she the runt of the litter, but she also had horrible skin problems -- one of the volunteers who bathed her after the rescue compared the amount of noise she made to bombs she'd heard going off in Afghanistan and Iraq, according to the Daily Mail.

Prudence has since recovered and befriended a group of puppies, chasing sticks alongside them and joining them for naps, according to the source.

The story bears a striking resemblance to "Babe," although, as far as we know, Prudence has yet to utter a word. The owner of the rescue, though, told Daily Mail, "She was going to be shot and if not shot then slaughtered. But she's here for good now. We literally saved her bacon."
