A hero dog to the core, Lilly the Pit Bull proved how far a canine's love can go. According to KSDK, Lilly was hit by an oncoming train in Boston, Mass. while protecting and trying to move her unconscious owner stuck on the tracks. The train's engineer, who attempted to stop the engine after spying the dog, called emergency services immediately after the collison. When paramedics arrived, they were amazed to find Lilly's owner, Christine Spain, unharmed. Lilly was not so lucky.
