Do all dogs like this? If not, do all corgis? Or is Turbo here just kind of a weirdo? We want to know because we literally have never, never seen a dog look as content as Turbo does nodding off in that trash can. And apparently it's not an isolated incident, as he "loves sleeping in the oddest places," according to his owners. "He's usually sleeping inside the trash can after he has already knocked it over, but we actually brought him upright for this video." He doesn't seem to mind the vertical orientation.

What weird spots does your dog find to sleep? Tell us in the comments.

We always tear up when we see service men and woman return home to their loved ones. The emotions on both sides can be overwhelming and the family in this video is no different.

Molly, an 8-year-old golden retriever, has clearly been missing her mama, an Air Force Captain, who's been stationed in Afghanistan. This is their airport reunion.

Here at Paw Nation, we love funny animal videos and we love pet stories. So we hit the streets to ask dogs (and their owners) about everything from how they were adopted to what the naughtiest things they've ever done are. It's our weekly video series, "Pet On The Street."

This week we're in Austin asking owners if their dogs like to swim.

The Packers may be getting all the press after the big game yesterday, but do you know who was the real super star of the Super Bowl? Dogs! That's right, two of the top three commercials from the event featured funny pooches. And they weren't just dogs doing doggie-dog things. The two ads that are tied for the No. 1 spot on the 2011 USA Today Super Bowl Ad Meter featured pups acting like -- you guessed it -- people.

The Doritos ad (above) shows a dopey guy standing inside the house with a bag of Doritos, teasing a cute -- yet hungry -- pug outside. As you might expect, the joke is on the human when the pug hilariously crashes through the door to get the chip.

We've all heard of amazing animal rescue stories in which a pet saves its owner's life. But a dog saving a canine buddy? That's a more unusual hero dog tale, but one that happened just days ago in Rancho Cordova, Calif. A rat terrier named Rowdy is credited with finding Casper, a 15-year-old miniature schnauzer, who was stuck in an 8-inch drain pipe.

According to CNN, Casper had been missing for three days when Rowdy, while out on a walk with his owner, caught the missing dog's smell and started barking at a storm drain about a block from Casper's home. It wasn't long before the Sacramento Metro firefighters were called to the scene.

Firefighters freed Casper from the drain in a creative way. They filled a fire hose with water, put a cap on the end and then tied a teddy bear around the end of the hose, using it like a pipe cleaner to gently push Casper out of the pipe.

It's no wonder that Labrador retrievers have been the most popular dog breed in the United States for the past 19 years straight. They are sweet, family friendly and super trainable. To prove our point, here are videos of Labradors that have learned to perform common tricks, compete in athletic competitions, assist humans and even save lives.

Gordon tears up the course in this agility competition. Too bad we can't crank the
trance music at the actual agility events, since it certainly heightens the drama!

We're always hearing about how curiosity gets the cat in hot water, but here's an example of a puppy sticking his nose -- and then the rest of his head -- somewhere it definitely doesn't belong.

Rebel, an 8-month-old German shepherd, got his head stuck in an 18-inch hole in a concrete wall. Fortunately for the snoopy puppy, the animal control officers who rescued him believe he was stuck only a few minutes before a neighbor heard him whining and authorities arrived on the scene. Still, it took 20 to 25 minutes of gentle pushing and pulling to free the frightened dog.

With so many puppy videos and so little time, we've gone the extra mile and begun cataloging some of the finest YouTube offerings, separating each collection by breed in a feature called Puppy Party!

This week's roundup features the adorable Akita!

With their fuzzy-wuzzy coats, Akitas look right at home in some snow.
Even if it's just a little snow. And just a little Akita.

Pull out the Kleenex, because here's a story that will tug on your heartstrings.

Wayne Giroux was a Texas lawnmower repairman who was killed this past summer by a drunk driver. His family misses Wayne, but his loyal dog, Spot, hasn't been able to let him go. How do you tell a dog this devoted that its master isn't coming home? This CNN video tells the story.

(And don't worry, although you don't see it in the video, Spot does have a nice place to go home to where he gets plenty of care and attention.)
