Joseph Thomas was in his backyard in Bradenton, Fla., pushing his 4-year-old daughter, Jaydha, in the swing when two gun-wielding robbers approached, demanding money. Thomas says that Bella, the family's boxer, charged the shooting gunmen and, along with the family's other dog, Shiloh, scared the robbers off.
