corgi.
We should probably stop making yearbooks entirely now since this guy just won at senior portraits for forever. Sure, our hero has mountains of swag all on his own, but we know what sends this photo over the top. There's no doubt about what the pièce de résistance is. High schoolers: You're not going to top a corgi in a necktie. Not ever. Just tell the yearbook club at your school that you want to be listed under "Not Pictured." You're all also-rans from this point forth. We're sorry. Game over. [via Buzzfeed] ...
This face. This face is one of the great rewards of dog ownership. Nothing's better than seeing pure joy bloom across your pooch's mug. Says this Daily Squee corgi's owner, "He's primarily an outside dog, so when I come out and sit on the deck with him, he lays his head on my lap and smiles at me. He is always this happy to see me. Can't beat the love of your dog." You'll get no argument from us. ...

You know who's not happy? Me, when that interloping golden retriever bumbles into frame at the 1:35 mark. Get out of there, old dog! It's puppy time! ...

Still, operating one of those bodies can take a little bit getting used to--especially when engaging in a somewhat unnatural physical task like climbing stairs--so it helps to have a experienced buddy to give you a boost. That's a good lesson in general. It's almost always a good idea to have a buddy with you, no matter what you're doing. This message brought to you by corgis, the official dog of Queen Elizabeth and the Internet. ...
