A New Jersey bear decided to revise an elementary school's lesson plan last week. According to Gothamist, a 75-pound bear broke through the glass door of Ogdensburg Elementary School last Friday. After charging through the door, the animal decided to stay awhile and scamper through the school's hallways. School custodian Earl Hornyak said he saw the bear crash through the door and decided to chase after it, hoping to direct the bear out the way it came in. HANOI, March 5, 2012 (AFP) - Seven Asiatic black bears kept as pets in small cages will be prepared for a return to the wild in Vietnam after their owner decided they were too big for captivity, an official said Monday. The animals, also known as moon bears owing to the distinctive yellow crescent-shaped mark on their chests, were given to the Wildlife Rescue Centre in Cat Tien National Park in southern Vietnam. Here's a pair that you wouldn't expect to see together. Both intimidating presences in the wild, it's not as if grizzlies and wolves are compatriots of the forest.
