SPCA Israel SPCA Israel It seems that a baboon at the Kibbutz Nir Eliyahu zoo in Jerusalem was feeling a bit too maternal last week when a stray kitten wandered into its enclosure. The monkey snapped up the kitten, apparently intent on caring for it, reports the Jerusalem Post. Unfortunately, the baboon proved overprotective as a mother. Whenever the wee cat tried to go off for something to eat or drink, the baboon would snatch it back up and hold it close.
