Cheetah Breaks World Record

While the world's fastest man, Usain Bolt of Jamaica, preps for his big Olympic race in London, Cincinnati Zoo's very own cheetah, Sarah, is breaking world records. During a National Geographic magazine shoot, Sarah shattered all 100-meter times in 5.95 seconds. To give you some perspective, Sarah had already earned the title of world's fastest land mammal in 2009 when she ran the same distance in 6.13 seconds. She is four seconds faster than Bolt, whose fastest time is 9.58 seconds.
