In her newly released book, "It's a Dog's World: The Savvy Guide to Four-Legged Living," Diamond shares a wealth of information she garnered while traveling the globe with her trusty Maltese, Lucky, whom she adopted in 1998. "I had a dog and a cat and they were a part of a lifestyle," Diamond tells Paw Nation. "My dog didn't want to sit at home and she wanted to go wherever I went, so I began taking her along."
Stowed away in a bag, travel-loving Lucky has been to movie premieres, Broadway show openings and to more continents than most people. "Lucky has been all over the world, from New Orleans to Israel," says Diamond, who devotes a section of her book to identifying the pet-friendliest airlines (Virgin Atlantlic and El Al Israel Airlines for international travel). There is also information about the top-10 kid-friendliest dog breeds, recipes for dog treats, how to exercise your dog, tips for helping your pooch when she becomes car sick, and much more.
"The book is a culmination of everything I've learned in the last decade," Diamond says.
