Tiny Kitten Survives Utah Wildfires

A sweet and furry story has risen from the ashes of Herriman, Utah's severe wildfires, and his name is Phoenix. According to the Salt Lake Tribune, a kitten with burned paws and singed whiskers was discovered wandering around the recently charred land of Herriman. The 9-week-old, long-haired kitten was spotted by a firefighter, who promptly picked up the injured feline and brought him to nearby Ching Farm and Rescue Sanctuary.
