A free kitten seems too good to be true, and sadly in this case it was. According to 11 Alive, one of the kittens given away for free outside a Georgia Walmart has tested positive for rabies. The kitten tested positive for the disease after being brought to the vet when the new owner's wife became lethargic after being scratched. Officials are currently searching for the two women who handed out the six kittens at the Walmart parking lot in order to track the animals down. Rabies Control Officer Vince Farah believes it highly likely that all the kittens are rabid, and he is asking anyone who came in contact with the cats to come forward. On Sunday morning, two sisters were seriously injured after a violent beaver attacked them at Lake Anna in Spotsylvania County, Va. According to WTTG-TV, 8-year-old Annabella Radnovich and her 11-year-old sister, Alyssa, were swimming with family when they felt something scratching beneath them. Moments later, the 65-pound animal attacked and bit both of their legs. The girls' mother, Wendy Radnovich, recapped what happened to her daughters.
