Politics has literally gone to the dogs, and it is getting dirty. According to the Daily Mail U.K., Florida governor Rick Scott gave the rescue dog he adopted during the 2010 election back after he was inaugurated. Scott adopted the dog shortly after receiving the GOP nomination for governor. Pictures of the canine were posted to Scott's Facebook campaign page, asking readers to help the candidate name his new family member. Cats and dogs have been in tow with their owners outside the court to help make the pet perspective on health insurance known. Chihuahua/Dachshund mix Ellie is a strong supporter of universal health care, or at least that's what her owner says.
