It's a sad day at the Pittsburgh Zoo. The first gorilla to be born there since 2001 has died after three and a half months, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. It is not clear why the male baby gorilla, who had yet to be named, died. Officials at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium said that the baby male gorilla was lethargic, sluggish and unable to cling onto his mother. He was then transferred to the zoo's Animal Care Center where Barbara Baker, the zoo's president and CEO, noted his worsened condition. If you're a Pittsburgh resident, you may have seen a sharply dressed pig frolicking the streets in a stylish scarf. No, you're not going crazy. According to Associated Press, there actually is a stylish swine on the loose. Motorists and state troopers have reported seeing the fashionable farm animal running along a highway outside of Pittsburgh. Troopers attempted to catch the pig, but it scurried back into the woods.
