After spending four days stuck in a sewer, an abandoned Pit Bull in St. Louis, Mo., was finally rescued, thanks to concerned locals who acted when animal control officers refused to ensure the dog's safety. Locals say that when one man recently moved away from their neighborhood in the North County section of St. Louis, he deserted his two Pit Bulls. Witnesses saw both dogs enter a sewer hole.
