Michael Phelps Will Teach His Adopted Dog to Swim

As the U.S. swimming-team trials unfold this week, superstar swimmer Michael Phelps' eyes are set on bringing home more gold at the 2012 Olympics in London later this summer. RELATED: Happy Tail: Love At First Sight Strikes Again! In 2008, Phelps swam away with eight gold medals in the Summer Olympics (the most gold medals ever won in a single Olympics). He also won the gold (at least in our eyes) for adopting a homeless Catahoula Leopard Dog mix from Animal Care & Control of New York in 2011.
