Simba the cartoon lion cub from "The Lion King" may prefer a warthog and a meerkat as best friends, but in real life, this little lion cub loves his canine playmate and rabbit pal. In this video, you'll meet Glasgow Zoo's Simba, who cannot get enough of his buddies Monty the dog and Thumper the rabbit. After falling sick last winter, the 13-week-old cub has been raised at home by zookeepers. Monty and Thumper have helped keep Simba company. The little cub will soon be the zoo's biggest attraction! ...

It really is so hard to say goodbye to yesterday, especially when yesterday was your last day working at the lion park, and the cubs there all pig-pile you for a marathon of hugs and kisses because they don't want you to go. This goodbye is the very definition of bittersweet, readers. It's so bitter because goodbyes are so hard, because our man is never going to see these cubs again, and his heart is clearly breaking because the cubs don't understand exactly that, although perhaps they realize that something is going on. Julie Larsen Maher © WCS You might remember last May when we told you about those three new lion cubs debuting at the Bronx Zoo. Well, it's been a year, and the three little cub are now slightly less little! We've got this up-to-date photo of the three "teens," who are now about 150 pounds each, according to the zoo. The cubs were born to their mom, Sukari, and dad, M'wasi, and already have an older sister named Moxie. If ...

You might think to yourself, "What a terrible, impatient parent! And how uncouth, to cause such a scene in public." But don't judge. If a kid pesters you enough, at some point you're going to want to bite off their head. Lions don't have department stores, but they do have kids, and even in the animal kingdom, it seems, kids can be annoying pains in the neck. Take this leonine papa at the San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park, for example. By the (UK) Daily Mail's account, he showed the patience of Mufasa as his bratty cub "spent hours tugging ...
