Ghana Farm Dog Saves Abandoned Newborn

This story takes hero dogs to a whole new level. According to the (U.K.) Daily Mail, a farm dog in Ghana discovered a newborn baby abandoned under a bridge and stayed with the child all night. A search party found the baby and the canine snuggled together the next day. The 2-week-old infant girl was rushed to doctors, where she was given a clean bill of health aside from a small and treatable infection. RELATED: See more hero dogs.
