Is anyone else sick of CGI? It's so cold and alienating. I miss the old days of handmade special effects. Sure they were cheesy and looked like crap most of the time, but you appreciated the effort that true artisans put into creating movie magic. Take this video, for example. Yeah, I see the guy's head too. But I can turn a blind eye and convince myself that I'm looking at a dancing dog-man. It's called suspension of disbelief, people! And I'd rather watch this on a loop for 90 minutes than sit through "Green Lantern" again....
