According to BBC, researchers have discovered that a beluga whale named NOC is able to make sound octaves below normal that are remarkably close to human speech. It all began when a diver at the National Marine Mammal Foundation in California came to the surface of the water and asked, "Who told me to get out?" Researchers knew it had to be someone under the sea. They finally identified the mimicking culprit as NOC, the nine-year-old beluga whale.
