We love animals here at Paw Nation, but these people are so devoted to the animal kingdom that they wear the proof on their skin. We're impressed, amused, and sometimes a tad weirded out by these wild animal tattoos.

If a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, then what's a bird on the hand worth?

We're all about animal rights, which is why we love this tattoo of evil animals ominously gathering around a helpless human. We'd like to cancel our rabbit stew please.

Jayne Jubb will take her pets to the grave. Photo: Geoffrey Robinson, Rex USA

When diagnosed with a terminal illness, most people immediately start living life to the fullest. For Jayne Jubb, that means getting all of her exotic pets -- everything from raccoons to a fox -- tattooed on her body.

"When I was told I didn't have long to live I knew it would be my animals I'd miss the most," Jubb told the Daily Mail. "So I came up with the idea of getting all the animals tattooed over my body. My husband thought I was a bit crazy at first but I've always liked tattoos and this seemed like a good way of keeping my pets with me forever."

Jubb, who was diagnosed with lung cancer, has followed her love of animals from the Exotic Pet Refuge in Peterborough to opening her own wildlife sanctuary for exotic pets.

"All the tattoos have been done from photos of my animals. I still have one more cat to squeeze in somewhere, and all the dogs, the snake and some llamas and an iguana we cared for," she said. "I don't know how long I've got left but this means I'll always have my animals with me no matter what."
