Alice Wang's hand leash does wonders for dog owners, but what can we do for our dogs?

Wang has answered that question with a collection of designs that allow you to share a special night at home with your dog. There's a set of two plates -- one normal plate and one doggy-bowl/plate hybrid -- accompanied by a set of wine glasses, one of which is bent at the stem so your dog can drink from it (Note: Paw Nation does not advise that you get your dog drunk). There's the little doggie dickey (adorable!), so your pooch will be properly attired. And finally, a long pillow lets you and your dog fall asleep gazing into each other's snouts.

As of now, these products are not yet on the market, although if you really wanted one, we're sure you can ask Alice yourself through her Web site. In the meantime, let's hope Alice keeps up the good work blurring the line between man's best friend and friend.

Designer Alice Wang takes the phrase "man's best friend" to the next level by attaching a severed hand to a leash. Equal parts clever and creepy, the disembodied rubber hand at your end of the leash gives you the feeling of taking a romantic stroll with your dog instead of being dragged outside so he can do his business.
