"Somebody is missing a ginormous dog," said Gina Knepp, manager at the Front Street Animal Shelter, of the 120-pound pooch. According to The Plain Dealer, Cleveland, three dogs were found and removed on Tuesday from the same house from which Gina DeJesus, Michelle Knight and Amanda Berry were rescued. The three dogs, a Chihuahua and two Terrier-Shih Tzu mixes, will be fostered by Dogs Unlimited Rescue until DeJesus, Knight or Berry decide to recover their pets. Evidence shows that puppies purchased from pet stores are more likely to display behavioral problems later in life, according to a groundbreaking University of Pennsylvania study. Frank McMillan, director of well-being studies at the Best Friends Animal Society in Utah and a co-author of the paper, told the Penn Current that he was curious about behavioral problems in pet-store puppies after a similar study two years ago that focused on puppies from commercial breeding facilities.
