Bunnies and chicks tend to be Easter's traditional mascots, but that doesn't mean there isn't room in your basket for other animals -- such as the designs shown here. (For materials and directions click the continued link below.)

Our talented and very crafty friends over at Shelterpop show how to make an adorable Fish in a Bowl with an Easter egg. It takes a bit of time and skill to pull together, but we think it's worth it.

If you're more of a dip-the-egg-in-a-cup-of-PAAS-dye-and-go-eat-a-Peep person (read: me), you might want to try making the Easter Egg Cat. It's a simpler -- but just as adorable -- approach to Easter egg making.

Unlikely lovebirds Emmy Rossum and Adam Duritz sure looked sweet early Thursday morning as they crossed Astor Place in New York City's East Village. Rossum looked on happily as the Counting Crows singer cuddled her Yorkie Cinnamon inside his coat on the first chilly day of the year. Must be puppy love!

"Emmy recently touted her new beau as 'extremely kind' and 'thoughtful,' so his affectionate handling of her pooch certainly backs that up," says PopEater.com senior editor, Marc Schneider.
