Pawnation

Charlotte Braun

Junior Editor, Los Angeles, CA
I grew up in Pacific Palisades, California and had pets of all kinds: dogs, lizards, frogs, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters - you name it! Currently, I live in sunny Los Angeles, California, where there are lots of dog parks and pooches with manicures. I was an equestrian for 10 years, competing in Jumpers and Equitation. I had three beautiful horses - Maggie, Scarlett, and Ulysses, all which I love dearly. As a teen, I took a fabulous Ecology class where I traveled to the Florida Keys and studied marine life and mangroves. I also took part in a tropical ecology seminar, where I studied deforestation within the Amazon. My primary focus was Chytrid Fungus, a deadly fungus that affects thousands of different reptiles and amphibians. Now, I am fortunate to be a junior editor for PawNation. In my down time, I enjoy surfing the web, volunteering at animals shelters, playing sports, LOLing at LOLcats, and spending time with my little pooches, Gracie and Duke.
