Japanese Company Creates Wine for Catsthe daily dish
Dog beer has been made for years, but cats have been left parched and out of the party until now. A Japanese company recently announced the creation of wine for cats. According to Time, B&H Lifes have concocted a refreshment for felines known as Nyan Nyan Nouveau.

"Nyan nyan" is the Japanese version of "meow meow," so cats will have no trouble asking for this drink by name. For those worried about intoxicated cats, you can breathe easy. The new product does not contain any alcohol or harmful products. Instead, the beverage is a mix of unfermented Cabernet grape juice and catnip. Since this drink contains grapes, it should be kept away from dogs, who can have dangerous reactions to the fruit.
The wine doesn't sound like a palate pleaser to us, but we're sure your feline will say differently. If you are interested in treating your cat to a little vino, you should act now. B&H Lifes is planning on making only 1,000 bottles of the "wine," which will cost $4.
