Loyal Dog Searches Buses Daily for Missing Owner

What happens when man's best friend is abandoned by his owner? Heartbreak. According to the Daily Mail UK, Huang Huang, a dog in Southwest China, has spent the past two weeks searching for the owner who left him behind.

Huang Huang boards every bus that comes to the stop where he was left behind, sniffing from seat to seat hoping to pick up a scent and be reunited with his human. Like any other passenger, the hopeful dog waits in line with other riders for the bus and boards the vehicle in an orderly manner. Once on the bus, Huang Huang immediately starts to whimper as he searches the seats for his former master.

Passengers and drivers feel for the dog, who allegedly spends 10 hours each day looking through the area's buses. Drivers say it isn't until nightfall that Huang Huang gives up and retreats into the darkness.

The stop that Huang Huang dedicatedly haunts is at a parking lot outside a temple in Chengdu, China. Bus operators originally thought the dog was looking for food, until a driver remembered seeing the canine with man about a month ago. Huang Huang's hunt for his owner has gone viral after a rider filmed one of the dog's routine searches and posted it online.

Several drivers are interested in giving the dog a good home, but want to give Huang Huang's owner a few more days to reappear. Until then, bus operators and passengers are keeping an eye on the lonely pup and making sure he stays safe.

Dogs R so loyal to us humans.!!! Why would we give them up when our relationships do?? It is not their fault. Where is our life commitment to our dogs? Whether the owner abandoned ... or died....someone has to step up and get the bull by the horns!!

I don't think the owner willingly left the dog ... this is a beautiful and strong bond ... sounds more like something has happened to the owner. Very sad all the way around.

how sad, why doesn't someone bring him home, if the owner comes, then give him back, or follow the dog home and see where he has been living, someone must be feeding him?

During a former marriage we were given a Lab puppy. After blondie was full grown we decided the marriage was over and lucky a guy i worked with had a male lab and asked me if he could take her? I said yes she'd have someone to play with and love. Well the day i went to take blondie to her new home she had tears rolling down her face she knew what was coming and that we'd never see one another again I'll miss blondie until the day i die!

I guess you cannot make a judgement about why the dog was left behind. Maybe something happened to the owner and he could not get back to his dog. I hope the poor little guy and his owner are reunited or that someone gives the dog a new home.

I agree. They are all just assuming the man up and desserted the dog. He may have passed away at work or wherever he went, and the dog misses him and goes to where he last seen him.
