In fact, many celebrities are huge advocates of adoption and rescue animals, and speak out against buying pets, especially those from puppy mills and pet shops. According to Blake Shelton, the country star's husband, Lambert, has been known to bring home a stray dog more often than not. For that reason, the couple shares their home with seven rescue dogs. Lambert is so passionate about rescue animals that she even created a non-profit organization called The Muttnation Foundation, dedicated to ending pet homelessness and suffering.
