Takeno Beach is a special beach in Toyooka, Japan, that is open to dogs and their owners all summer long.
Japan is suffering from an intense and deadly heat wave right now, so Takeno Beach has been more popular than ever.
We literally can't imagine a cuter or more fun way to beat the heat than to play in the ocean with dogs at Takeno Beach.
Ciel is a one-year-old pooch, seen here enjoying Takeno Beach over the past weekend.
This dog can barely keep from grinning while it romps around in the shallow water.
These Chihuahuas are having so much fun that they don't seem to mind being dragooned into service as aquatic draft animals.
Don't swim out too far, you two!
You haven't played fetch until you've watched your dog plow full-speed into the ocean to retrieve a thrown ball and bring it back to you with a confident swagger.
"Don't worry, buddy. I've got you. Just remember: It's called the doggy paddle. You were made for this."
This dog looks a bit trepidatious about being on that boogieboard, but we're sure he'll get the hang of it.
Most of Takeno Beach's fans know to keep life jackets strapped to their dogs for safety.
Leash rules still apply in the water, too!
A dog in a floaty raft isn't such an unusual sight at Takeno Beach. Who's down for a trip to Toyooka?
I love this what fun!
