Fisherman Rides Mola Mola in Viral Video

the daily dish More on PawNation: Fish and Marine, Mola Molas, Wild Animals

A fisherman dove into the ocean somewhere off the coast of Mexico and rode a giant mola mola fish like a rodeo cowboy after his friends offered him $20 to do it. Footage of "Cliff" riding the mola mola has gone viral on YouTube.

Man Rides Huge Fish For $20

YouTuber Matt G, who uploaded the video, says that the mola mola was covered with parasites, and returned to the boat several times after the fisherman helped scrub the parasites off its body, although it isn't clear from his description whether that happened before or after Cliff's ride.

"They started as strangers but ended up as good friends," Matt G wrote of Cliff's encounter with the mola mola, noting that the animal was not harmed, but that "Cliff had some barnacle burn - ouch!"

Mola molas, aka ocean sunfish, are large, slow-moving fish that swim near the surface of the water and eat jellyfish.

Ocean Sunfish are one of the most docile creatures in the ocean. Just let them be.

Part of respecting life, is respecting death. People do no respect death as equally as they should. oh and if "just overly intelligent" is your name. did you notice a natural human with no tools interacting with a fish (no tools either); how much more natural can you get? nature interacts with nature on a daily basis; nature even teases nature. Where is the lack of respect? Natural things were done in naturals way, nobody was uselessly hurt. Go watch the nature channel, you'll see all animals doing this. guess every earth being is disrespectful
