Viral 'Lost Cat' Image Suggests Absent-Minded Owner

the daily dish More on PawNation: Cats, Funny, Lost Pets
A funny photo that went viral over the weekend depicts a cat that belongs to a clueless owner, as the cat sits in a window beside its own "lost cat" poster.

The idea of an owner looking for a lost cat who is already home was amusing enough to spread the image widely around social media during the past few days, although a simple explanation is likely. Perhaps the cat's owner has two cats that look alike, or perhaps the cat was just recently found and the owner forgot to take down the poster.

Whatever the explanation behind the ironic image, countless people have been delighted by the silly situation. But assuming the cat in the window is the same one from the post, we're glad the "lost" cat is safe and sound at home.

The cat in the window has white around his mouth and nose. The cat on the poster does not appear to have it. The cat on the poster has white feet, the cat in the window seems to have black feet.

OR maybe the cat was found and the owner simply forgot to remove the sign! Wow, like that's never happened before....

That looks like a typical house in England. The owner has to be pretty old too.

TALK TO THE HOOF

The cat is probably watching its distressed owner run up and down the street in a blind panic. My 100% housecat has on more than one occasion been mintues from being put on a milk carrton only to reappear at the 11th hour with that oh were you looking for me look on her face.
