Pit Bull Really Wants That Stick

More on PawNation: Cute, Dogs, Funny, Pit Bulls, Weird
When faced with a challenge, a great man - or in this case, a great dog - doesn't say "never mind." A true fighter tackles the roadblock until it crumbles. Rocky Balboa didn't let a set of intimidating steps stand in his way, and this Pit Bull has that same determination. She wants a particular stick, and no strong, sturdy, 100-year-old tree is going to tell her she can't have it. This dog will stay in a spin cycle of courage and determination until that branch is her personal chew toy.

How Did Pit Bulls Get Singled Out as "Most Dangerous" Dogs?

Do not blame the Dogs people,.......humans are the one\'s who made this breed of animal, not nature. They were \"bred\" to kill, and that\'s just what they do,.......kill. They don\'t kill to eat, or survive, they kill because that\'s what\'s in their BLOOD..............! If a half-starved Pit Bull attacked you, it would most likely try to kill you, but it wouldn\'t eat you after you were dead, it would walk off somewhere, and die of starvation....they just want to kill,........that is what they thrive on.........

THEIR JAWS DO NOT LOCK... Dr. Howard Evans, a professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University along with Dr. Sandy DeLahunta, a dog neurologist along with Dr. Katherine Houpt, a dog behaviorist, wrote the following statement, “there is no anatomical structure that could be a locking mechanism in any dog”

You can say/write what you want. Not only did I own one of these dogs at one time, a friend of mine who I got him from, uses a \"Goat\'s Horn\" to pry his Pit Bull\'s mouth open when he wants him to release what ever he is biting. They may not \"LOCK\" as you say, but the only way you\'re going to get them to let go, is to make it hurt so bad that they have to! Once they lock on, they will not let go until the animal they are fighting is dead, that includes humans.

The breed is obviously as dumb as the people that own one.

This is a sad video - that dog is obviously in pain, as you can hear her whimpering after a while and literally crying out. I hope whoever was taking the video realized that and helped the dog down.

You are wrong my friend,.....that dog is not in pain, ......that dog is making those joyous noises because he/she is LOVING IT! That is what they love to do, Rip, Tear, until whatever it is they lock onto,...............is dead. Blame the humans, don\'t blame the dog.

their jaws don't lock... really then why did they have to cut the head off of one to get my uncle's thumb out of its mouth even after it had been shot and killed???? they were ale to re-attach it.. this is a dangerous breed for many reasons, and I for one will stay away from them... BTW... if they are not as bad as "we" think, then why are they being banned all over the place??

I suspect that, for some bizarre reason, you *completely* made that story up. Cutting the head off? Really? *That's* what got the thumb out of it's mouth. I almost spit my coffee out laughing.

The instinct that keeps that dog on the branch is the same that keeps killing people, it is not adorable or cute or funny! They do hold on and make those movements, that is why children are ripped to shreds, and fatal wounds are given by these dogs. I knew a perfectly trained dobe that got frightened because someone took his picture, he bit his way up the owners arm! She was lucky, but the dog could never be trusted again. Would repeatedly growl at the woman.
