    Everyone is looking for that extra curb appeal when trying to rent or sell their place — a certain wow factor that pushes people to sign the contract. According to People Pets, John and Sara Kanive found theirs in a photobomb-loving dog named Otis.

    The couple was taking pictures of their two-bedroom Chicago apartment rental on Craiglist when their pooch decided to crash the party. After Otis slipped into one of the photos, John decided to slyly place his pet in each pic.

    John and Sara think this furry surprise was a real selling point because their apartment was rented out in less than 24 hours after the pictures were posted.

    While Otis is trying to hide in these pictures, the big dog is still pretty easy to spot. Otis is a Great Dane–German Shepherd mix that weighs 90 pounds. But John told People Pets that the impressive canine still insists he's a lapdog.

    Otis appears to have a promising future in photobombing, but the pooch has a bevy of other hobbies. His owners say Otis loves to cuddle, play fetch and keep track of the neighborhood happenings through the window. Hopefully, he will make his house-selling services available to the public in the future.

    Otis may have helped to sell this house, but pets can be an issue when you are the one moving. Here are a few important issues to keep in mind:

    - Prepare a pet résumé for your furry friend before your search so you can show landlords and realtors that your pet is healthy and well-behaved.

    - Be up front about having an animal, instead of hiding it until later.

    - Offering to pay an additional security deposit for your pet can be a helpful way to encourage landlords who are unsure about the damage an animal may cause.

    - When you do find a new place for you and your furry friend, make sure to be a good neighbor by picking up after your pet and keeping them quiet and content.
