Fox Joins a Hedgehog for Dinner
Animals have manners, too. According to the Daily Mail U.K., a hedgehog outsmarted a fox by getting to the fox's food first, but the larger animal was happy to share.
Sue Massey left a dish of leftovers in her backyard to feed the wildlife, including the local foxes. Before any fox could get to the meal, a hedgehog waddled over and slurped up most of the grub. The fox eventually showed up for his supper, but instead of getting angry and trying to snack on the hedgehog, the fox decided to share.
Massey was amazed as she watched both the animals settle in to finish off the food together. The hedgehog proved to be the more piggish of the pair, licking the plate clean.
