SEALED WITH A KISS

In the Netherlands' Burgers' Zoo, a ringed seal pup has been born. The ringed seal is the most common of Arctic seals and lives along the coasts of Iceland, Northern Europe, Russia, Alaska, Greenland and Canada.

PEEKABOO

A baby wallaby peeks out of its mother's pouch at the Blackpool Zoo in Lancashire, England. Absolutely adorable!

AS SWEET AS MAGPIE

Three Australian magpie chicks open their beaks wide for some food at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo in Indiana.

MONKEY SNOW, MONKEY DO

At the Central Park Zoo in New York, a snow monkey plays with a branch in the midst of a snowstorm. All the snow monkeys eventually congregated for warmth around the hot spring in their enclosure. 

LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER

These 11-week-old Andean bear cubs at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, D.C., are under close watch by mother, Billie Jean. Billie is very protective over her cubs, but as time goes on, she's beginning to let loose a little bit. So cute!

SWEET SHEEP

Sheep stand pretty at the Somerset House in London to celebrate the Wool House event, open until March 24. 

PERCHED AND PRETTY

ELEPHANT ENRICHMENT

In Washington, D.C.'s Smithsonian National Zoo, an elephant plays with an enrichment object as a source of entertainment. Elephants never turn down a toy!

STARTING OFF SMALL

At the Surabaya Zoo in Indonesia, seven 4-day-old komodo dragons show off their cuteness as they explore their habitat. These lizards can grow 3 meters in length and can weigh as much as 330 pounds. 

CAMEL CUTENESS

At the Chomutov Zoo in the Czech Republic, a 30-year-old seal named Kasek is seen relaxing in his enclosure. He looks great! Clearly, age has not slowed him down.

DARLING LITTLE DRAGON

A beautiful, young Chinese water dragon is held by a zookeeper at the zoo in Gelsenkirchen, western Germany.

BONGO BEAUTY

In Tennessee's Nashville Zoo, an eastern bongo named Hidaya was born to the zoo's breeding pair, Brooks and Linus. The zoo is now home to three eastern bongos that reside in an off-exhibit habitat. 

POUCHED PERFECTION

A very cute female wallaby relaxes in her enclosure at Wayne Newton's Casa de Shenandoah in Las Vegas. So precious!

BIRTHDAY DINGOS

Dingos Daku and Mirri turn two today at the Perth Zoo in Australia. The duo were given wrapped presents of mouse, quail and scented leaf litter in celebration of their birthday. Happy birthday, cuties!

NEW BEGINNINGS

Mini, a 4-month-old female manatee, is released by River Safari into a holding pool in Singapore. The zoo in Singapore currently holds 11 manatees and is preparing them to be transferred into their new enclosure at the new Singapore River Safari.

A VERY BOUNCY BIRTHDAY

At the Whipsnade Zoo in England, ring-tailed lemur twins named Billy and Taffy inspect a piñata in celebration of their 25th birthday. Billy and Taffy are most likely the oldest lemur twins in the world. 

MR. MANGO

A baby rhino named Mango is pictured at the Australia Zoo looking cute as all get out.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD

In Austria's Zoo Salzburg, a healthy 5-pound baby tapir has been born. Its sex has not been determined yet, but its mother, Bibi, is taking very good care of her little cub.

BONE APPÉTIT

At the Columbus Zoo in Ohio, a bear is seen enjoying a nice meaty bone for lunch. Looks good!

MINI AGILITY ALL-STAR

A spritely 4-year-old Chinese Crested dog named Pixie performs agility in Tulsa, Okla., at the AKC National Agility Championship. Pixie and owner Kathryn Clark traveled from Florida to attend their first agility championship. Paws up for Pixie, proving toy breeds can be fierce competitors! 

BOTTLE ME, PLEASE

At the Chester Zoo in the U.K., a baby dik-dik is bottle-fed after it failed to bond with its mother.

MEERKAT MISCHIEF

A 6-week-old meerkat pup relaxes with adult meerkats in their enclosure at the Oakland Zoo in California. There are actually three 6-week-old meerkat pups at the zoo, and their names are Ayo, Nandi and Rufaro. Cute!

CONDOR CUTIE

Wesa, a 2-week-old California condor chick, is the first of the season to hatch at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Wesa is doing great, is a healthy weight, and is planned to be released into the wild one day. The little chick is a part of the San Diego Zoo Safari Park's very successful condor recovery program that began in the early 1980s. 

JUST LIKE DUMBO

In the Czech Republic at Zoo Praha, an elephant calf is pictured with adult elephants Donna, Tonya and Gulab. 

HAPPY FOR HIBISCUS

Spur-thigh tortoises at the Taronga Zoo in Australia munch on yummy hibiscus flowers, a favorite snack.

STORK DELIVERY

A marabou stork was born at the Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo in Florida. The little guy is under the watchful eye of his mother. Too adorable!

A LITTLE BIT OF JOY

There's a new addition at the San Diego Zoo. Meet Kayode, a southern white rhino. Kayode means "he brings joy" – which we're sure he does.

PRETTY IN PINK

Twenty-one flamingos at the Oregon Zoo have moved into the newly remodeled Africa Rainforest Aviary. They will make their public debut March 23, after spending a few weeks getting accustomed to their new home.

PUGGLE POSSIBILITIES

An echidna puggle named Babbin has gotten all of his/her spikes. The cutie was born last year at the Perth Zoo in Australia. Its sex is unknown at the moment, but within the next few months, a DNA test will determine whether the puggle is male or female.

CAMEL COMMUTE

Hundreds of camels wait at Mogadishu's seaport in Somalia to be exported to Saudi Arabia.

WHERE'S THE PAINT?

At the Indianapolis Zoo in Indiana, a sea lion creates a pretty masterpiece at the Animal Art Adventure. How cute!

HEBREW FOR HORSES

In the Golan Heights, two horses are pictured in front of a former Israeli tank in a large grassy field along the border between Israel and Syria.

THESE DON'T LOOK LIKE ACORNS

In Germany, an adorable little squirrel searches for a snack in a bird feeder after heavy snowfall.

MAXIMUS, AKA MAX

At the Houston Zoo in Texas, Max is the official elephant barn dog. When he was 3 months old, he was spotted along the side of the road by one of the Houston Zoo's keepers. The elephant team at the zoo was looking for a barn dog, and Max was the perfect fit. Max has been at the zoo for four years now, and has a great relationship with all the other animals.

BONGO BREEDING

In Australia's Taronga Zoo, two eastern bongos are seen "courting." They are male and female, and are often spotted while mating. It would be wonderful if another calf came along in the near future, as there are estimated to be fewer than 75 eastern bongos remaining in the wild.
