Lil Bub Documentary to Premiere at Tribeca Film Fest

Gather around, viral cat lovers; things are about to go to the big screen. According to Next Movie, feline Web sensation Lil Bub has partnered with Vice to make the documentary "Lil Bub and Friendz," which will make its premiere at this year's Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.

The film explores the phenomenon of Internet cats and their memes, using Lil Bub as the primary example. Bub has become a fixture on the Web, thanks to adorable pictures, a unique look and a positive attitude.



Since Lil Bub is one of today's top cats, it was easy for her to get some famous friends to appear in the movie beside her. Grumpy Cat, Keyboard Cat, Nyan Cat and more will be pawing their way through the picture as well.

The Tribeca Film Festival is being held between April 17–28. The screening schedule and further distribution plans for "Lil Bub and Friendz" has not yet been announced.
