Air purifiers and humidifiers will not only improve the air quality in your home but will also go a long way to eliminating all kinds of odors in the household, including those emanating from the litter box. There are special air purifiers ostensibly designed for pet kennels and grooming salons. But they can be certainly used in a domestic environment, too.
I am about to have a granddaughter move in with me and that includes her cat. I don't have a cat and wanted to know if there is any possible precautions that I should take before the cat arrives that would assure me of no cat odor!
ok cat stink use baking soda if your cat is tossing litter out of box/pan get a big/deeper one or a box to put it in also one with a smaller hole that way stinkers cant just jump out of pan throwing litter also don't be cheap fill pan with enough litter then add some more all your worries are fixed
The odor is NOT the problem, it's the nasty dust that all cat litters leave all over the house!!! As long as you clean it out regularly no odor problem at all.
I been using Fresh Step for years and to me I like the product I tried others but to me I find this one works great I have two cats. I tried scoop away but to me I prefer Fresh step.

My cats did not like Worlds Best. Neither did I due to poor odor control & dust. Arm & Hammer is our choice. Works great!
