One day, you may find yourself elderly and infirm, with any number of medical issues slowing you down. When that happens, it probably won't strike you as an excellent time in your life to take up basketball. But then, you're not a sea otter. Sixteen-year-old Eddie the sea otter is considered geriatric for his species, because sea otters only live to be about 15 to 20 years old. In his old age, Eddie has developed arthritis in his elbows. But the keepers at the Oregon Zoo where Eddie lives have settled on turning Eddie into a slam-dunk superstar as a way to work through his symptoms.
