Grab your sneakers and get ready to play a game with one of the world's cutest basketball players. Amos the Wonder Horse is wowing kids everywhere with his amazing basketball skills. The 12-year-old miniature horse even caught the eye of the Harlem Globetrotters, who are bringing Amos along as a goodwill ambassador on their tour to stop bullying in schools. Basically, Amos is an all-around wonderful animal. That's probably how he got his name. Read on to learn more about what this amazing critter is up to.
WANT TO PLAY A GAME OF HORSE?
Amos loves to play basketball. He enjoys looking the part too, thanks to his friends, the Harlem Globetrotters, who sent him a ball and some gear to give him this pro look. This year, he will be sporting a new jersey when he joins the team. Looking good, Amos!

STUDY UP
In his spare time, Amos likes to catch up on his reading. From the Wall Street Journal to his favorite comics, you can almost always catch him with his nose buried in his latest reading material. Here, Amos checks out National Geographic Kids. He will be featured in the coming June/July issue.

HORSING AROUND
Some enjoy a good roll in the hay. Amos enjoys a good roll in the pasture, especially after a bath. His theory: “I smell like flowers after my beauty treatment, so it’s important to add the green grass and dirt smell to round it out.”

STALL SWEET STALL
Amos spends a lot of time on the road meeting his fans and shooting hoops. But it’s always nice to go home, especially since he gets to see his buddy, Floyd the Flamingo.

SECRET AGENT AMOS
His future is so bright, he has to wear shades. Actually, he enjoys his anonymity. Amos wears his sunglasses so that he won’t be noticed. Unfortunately, the hat is a dead giveaway.

SAY CHEESE
There’s nothing like cheesecake. Or a cheesecake shot. And here, Amos poses happily for the camera. Of course, he would much rather eat cheesecake.

PONY FOR PREZ
There’s nothing more patriotic than a pony. After all, Yankee Doodle went to town riding one. Amos loves to show his patriotic side. He supports our troops, encourages people to vote and is considering a run for office. Amos 2016? Maybe.

MANE ATTRACTION
Next to eating, playing basketball and drinking his favorite drink (Slurpees), Amos' favorite activity is sleeping. But even at rest, he manages to look fabulous. His PR agent says that Amos has better hair than she has. He says she’s jealous.

AMOS'S ALL-STAR SKILLS
Amos is known for his mad skills on the basketball court. Even the world famous Harlem Globetrotters like to shoot hoops with him. Here he is showing his infamous slam dunk. Not bad for being three feet high with no thumbs!

SLAM DUNKING FOR GOOD
Amos brings a whole new meaning to the word “globetrotter” when he joined the Harlem Globetrotters to shoot a few hoops for kids from the American Heart Association in South Florida. Here he poses with team member, Buckets Blakes. The Globetrotters even made Amos an honorary goodwill ambassador for his volunteer work with special needs kids.

HOOFING IT TO THE TOP
Amos was invited to New York City where he appeared on the "Today" show in their Quest for the Best series. Here he is with his trusted “employee” known as "the PR Girl," who he keeps around to clean up his messes, feed him and help him type, since it’s difficult without thumbs.

BEST IN SHOW
Though the competition was stiff, Amos won the "Today" show’s Quest for the Best competition by showing the world his basketball skills. Here he stops to pose for the camera and his adoring fans. But certainly Amos is not a one-trick pony. Check it out.

HOT TO TROT
What do you do after your big appearance on national television? Go for a walk, of course. Amos and his PR Girl stepped out after his big debut, and walked through the streets of New York City. He wanted to go to his favorite ice-cream shop, Serendipity’s, but they went to Bloomingdale's instead.
