Winter Storm Nemo Caused Thousands of Lobsters to Wash Up on Mass. Beach
the daily dish
Most in the Northeast have dug their way out of the snow that winter storm Nemo dumped on them, but a few states had some unexpected surprises. According to the Daily Mail U.K., the storm's gale-force winds caused thousands of lobsters and other sea life to wash up onshore in Massachusetts.
The rough waves caused by the winds swept loads of lobsters, skate, starfish and clams onto Nantasket Beach. While the blizzard proved to be bad for the sea creatures, seagulls benefited from the free feast.
The Nor'easter also caused more than 500,000 people to lose power and left 3 feet of snow in some areas. Officials from the Division of Marine Fisheries were shocked by the number of lobsters and other creatures that washed up onshore, but are confident it should not affect Massachusetts marine life as a whole.

Bad idea- No fishing license, do it- you're poaching, even if it's because of a storm :(
