    Accomplished photojournalist Robin Layton has been capturing beautiful, intimate photographs for a majority of her life. Last year, she decided to work on a project that was near and dear to her heart, along with her two pet-loving friends, Kimi Culp and Lisa Erspamer. They wanted to offer thanks to their canine companions for all that they had done for them. They decided to put up a blog to invite other dog lovers to express their gratitude. It turned out that they weren't the only ones. 

    With the help of some of her celebrity friends, the three women compiled a collection of heartfelt letters and stunning portraits featuring dogs and their grateful owners.
