Chinese New Year is the most important holiday for the Filipino-Chinese population in the Philippines. Last year, it was declared a special non-working holiday throughout the country. So, Filipinos take this festival very seriously, but none more than Emmanuel Tangco.

According to Metro U.K., the zoo owner from the Philippines has decided to celebrate the Year of the Snake by covering himself with his collection of scaly serpents. He even cuddles with them in bed while reading a book before they all fall sleep.

In another image, Tangco is shown holding a bunch of his snakes while in a pool as zoo-goers look on.

Tangco has a very close relationship with his reptiles and, as you can see, isn't afraid of them one bit.

The snake is the sixth of 12 animal signs in the Chinese zodiac. Those born in the Year of the Snake are said to be charming, cunning and passionate.

you eather love them or hate them but lots of people dont under stand that are loveble pets when small but they do grow quite fast and need lots of care they dont under stand that they stay wild and eat other animals from small mice to a fall grown rabbit as they grow bigger most pet shops will sell you them as little six inch snakes but please look into witch type your going to buy as some can grow up to twenty feet long.and can live up to twenty to thirty years. this has ment that alot of owners turned them lose thinking they cant look after them they will be able to look after them selfs and find food. this is not only crawl to the snake as they need heat. But also on the other animals they mite come across
