Is it Puppy Bowl Sunday yet? Yes! We've been waiting all year for the world's greatest televised sporting event, and Animal Planet has graciously shared their starting lineup with us. Out on the field, these puppy players will be going head to head for the end zone. But here, we're putting them up against each other in the most important category of all: cuteness. We know it's hard, but just like the Super Bowl, somebody's gotta win. Let the games begin!

Shih-Tzu's are a happy and fun breed. We love our little stumpy and he is a natural born actor!

February 04 2013 at 7:49 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThese were the cutest pups overall in Puppy Bowl history. I just love Aurora and Arlo!!
February 04 2013 at 7:17 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyGotta go with the adorable Basset hound/ Dachshund mix puppy, Sally. I've always owned either a Basset hound or a dachshund, so I wasn't surprised that a mixture of the two turned out to be the cutest one on the field yesterday! And what an awesome touchdown she made too!!!
February 04 2013 at 2:40 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyAnimal Planet should have more puppy bowls for poor pups in shelters to get adopted. Great idea! Adorable pups all of them!!
February 04 2013 at 11:42 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI loved the puppy bowl. Who needs real football when you can watch these wonderful loving animals just having fun, and the halftime didn't cause a blackout!! Just furry kitty fun. The most heartening about all of this, is that I bet most of the puppys, & kitties were adopted & found loving homes. Thank you Animal Planet
February 04 2013 at 11:09 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyCheck out Pearl's FB page - A Dog Named Pearl (aka A Puppy Named Pearl)!
February 04 2013 at 10:10 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI can tell you that Pearl was adopted by a family that is absolutely crazy about her and she is living a life that is envious -- plenty of room to run around, lots of walks, plenty of toys to play with and lots and lots of love. We should all be so lucky!
February 04 2013 at 10:01 AM Report abuse Permalink +1 rate up rate down ReplyOh this is too much. I voted but felt dreadful for actually choosing one of those cuties over another. Maybe, to be fair I could do it over and vote the opposite.
February 04 2013 at 8:51 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyLet\'s be real--these are puppies that we\'re talking about, not bratty kids in a beauty pageant! They\'re ALL the cutest!! Also, the kitten halftime show is always my favorite part of this event and I LOVED the hedgehog cheerleaders! So much better than watching a boring human football game!
