Elizabeth Hurley returned from a vacation to find her dogs suffering from an apparent poisoning, according to Contactmusic.

The actress had been in Australia with her fiancé. When she returned home, her dogs, Lucy and Raja, were sick. Hurley tweeted, "Home Sweet Home. Wonderful to be back but two of my dogs have been seriously ill for the last 48 hours. Vet thinks poison. Horrific."

Hurley added in another tweet, "Lucy, the chocolate lab, was hit the worst. She still has bandaged legs where the drip went in."

Thankfully, the dogs are alive, and further tweets from Hurley indicate that both animals are recovering.

I say once again, anyone who would do such a thing on purpose deserves a horrific death.

Last week, Elizabeth acted very witchy to a paparazzi in an airport, and ran over the gal's toes with her suitcase cart. Karma?

She should check the plants in her back yard. A previous owner of the home may have used toxic pesticides. My dachshund died from something she ate in the garden that poisoned her. I would never use toxic pesticides, but who can ever be sure about others who lived in the same house.

This crime needs to be dealt with much more severely - the person who would poison a pet of someone would also do it to a human - if they could get away with it!

People who abuse, either animals or humans, should be sentenced to the same abuse they dished out.
