A court may find that the groomer owed you (and your dog) the duty of reasonable care and that the groomer was negligent in the handling of your dog. In New Hampshire, one can sue in Small Claims Court for up to $7,500.
Hey so i need some legal advice about my dog who ran away and was picked up by an animal rescue. Me and my boyfriend have been off and on homeless due to him loosing his job. Now the lady who owns the animal rescue wants to keep him because of this. My dog is a full blooded shiba inu one years old and i feel that it might be a big part of why she is not wanting to return him to us. But he is well taken care of despite our living condions. She even said he was in perfect health when they picked him up. Even so she got him fixed and had him microchipped in her name. Please tell me if there is anything we can do to get our baby back we are heartbroken!
I need help, due to my sisters total incompetence and neglect she bread my blue merle aussie with a red merle because she didn't think a small spot would matter. Anyways she has had my female and 6 puppies at her home, 2 of the puppies are lethal whites and she wanted them put down. I told her it was not going to happen and she informed me that it would dnever happen that i will ever see any of those puppies again. the puppies were selling for $600 she is keeping one for herself and is still claiming the vet bills were more then this. I know she's lying because i had seen the bills before she went crazy. Please help me I just want my dog back and to know the blind/deaf puppies are safely in my care. I have the fenced yard and am training with a rescue group of the lethal whites to help train me to keep the babies safe.
I'm sorry I meant that he was not micro chipped at the time
Hello I am trying to reclaim a lost puppy that I bought for my son. It's a boston Terrier that I bought for my son as a gift. He has sickle cell disease and the dog Dexter is his name has been therapeutic for him. The finder is not trying to release him to its. It has been about 10 months yet we just saw the dog a week ago in which at that time the finder said that we could have the dog back then a couple days later text me and told me that he and his wife decided to keep him. They live not even 100 yards from us in our neighborhood. What can I do to reclaim our boston who is family. He slipped out our back door after taking a bath and we could not locate him after checking the local authorities. He was noticed chopped. I tried the local authorities at that time and there was no sign of him. I have doctor records and have been in contact with the person that I purchased him from to vouch for my ownership. What can I do?
