Denise Richards' Dog Dies

Denise Richards is experiencing the loss we all dread. Her dog, Hank, died Sunday. Hank was 13 years old.

Richards took to Instagram Monday to let fans know that her beloved French bulldog was gone. "Last night we lost our beloved Hank ... I will miss him dearly, 13 yrs old ... been there for me thru it all. Best dog ever & part of our family," Richards wrote of her friend.

Richards shared a photograph of Hank looking charmingly grumpy.

Richards has a large family of pets to comfort her while she mourns Hank. She has several remaining dogs and cats in her home, including Lily, the displaced puppy she adopted last November from the North Shore Animal League after volunteering in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

I know its hard - but there is Pug Rescue of San Diego - pugbutts.com - so many dogs that need homes - when I can, I want to adopt another senior dog -
